Welcome to May Meadow Cottage.
May Meadow Cottage is situated behind gates along its own driveway in a tranquil, idyllic location surrounded by private gardens, an LTA standard tennis court with practice wall and a spacious outdoor dining area. It is a perfect holiday destination for family holidays, family gatherings and long weekend getaways with friends.
Located in the beautiful North Devon countryside, not far from the A377, Barnstaple to Exeter road which allows fantastic access to the North Devon coast, Dartmoor, Exmoor as well as being just 45 minutes from Exeter by car. The cottage is just over a mile from the pretty village of Chulmleigh and just over 15 minutes drive from the market town of South Molton. Barnstaple is 30 minutes away. There are walks right from the driveway entrance up onto the ridge where you see fabulous views of Dartmoor and Exmoor.
Kings Nympton train station is less than a mile away which is on the Tarka train line, giving easy access to Exeter, Crediton and Barnstaple.
The cottage features four bedrooms and four bathrooms, with a cloakroom downstairs. Three bedrooms have king-size beds and one bedroom has a standard double bed and a single bed. Three bedrooms have ensuite shower/bathrooms and one bedroom has a family bathroom immediately next door to the bedroom.
Outside, there are pretty front and rear lawns surrounded by abundant flower beds of approximately half an acre, a recently refurbished private tennis court, patio with outdoor dining, BBQ area and a covered veranda. There is also a small ornamental feature pond with removable safety fencing.
For rainy days, the cottage games room/study has a bar football (foosball) table, a 7ft snooker/pool table and a variety of board games.
For guests who would like to work from home, there is also a study desk with a comfortable chair.
An EV charger is available on request at our neighbouring property.
